The name of the dive site is inspired by the shape of the rocks that are located above the surface and that would vaguely represent the muzzle of a lion with its mouth wide open.

A beautiful wall descends almost to -40 meters.Around the boulders swim bream, snapper, groupers and even Mediterranean barracuda. 

Above this wall you can see many organisms, including red coral, yellow madrepores, sea daisies and the inevitable sea cowhides.

Throughout the area cracks and small inaccessible caves are quite present, but about 12 meters deep there is an accessible cave, with a small and narrow entrance.
